Terry is responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and procurement of multiple species of hardwood lumber to satisfy the growing lumber demands of Lacrosse Hardwood Flooring. Terry is a 1996 graduate of the NHLA’s Inspection School, (121st class) and has 28 years of experience in the hardwood lumber industry. His experience has spanned from raw material resourcing to the finishing side of manufacturing operations. As an avid outdoorsman he enjoys spending every possible minute outdoors deer hunting, fishing and bow fishing there is always something to do on land or water. When not on the water he spends his time on his wooded 18 acres near Reedsburg, Wisconsin or in his woodworking shop. His family is very important to him and the grandchildren keep him busier than ever.


  1. What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
    1. Woodworking is one of my passions. Taking a piece of wood and turning it into something usable and beautiful allows for productive downtime and stress relief.
  2. If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
    1. Traveling to Alaska over land. While there I would like to moose hunt and fish for halibut, as my grandfather once did.
  3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
    1. Red meat and lobster.
