I started in 1992 after being in the US Navy for 4 years. A good friend of mine had his own contracting company and while I was going to college, I helped him out when possible. Once I graduated, the lure of hardwood flooring was too much and I became the estimator who also ran the crews for a large company. After that I was an outside salesman for a distribution company and then I accepted a job as the Western regional manager for a European engineered company. After that I was the national sales manager for a European machine manufacturer and then I became the VP for a distributor. From there I was promoted to president.

  1. What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
    1. I would select coaching sports. I have the highest level certification for USA hockey and coached a college team. Currently, I’m a lacrosse coach for the high school that I attended.
  2. If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
    1. I would spend that time backcountry snowmobiling in the Rockies. I love to tear up the snow with my son during the winter. No one for 100 miles and the challenge that 10,000 altitude brings is an adrenaline rush.
  3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
    1. Japanese ramen! When I lived in Japan it became my favorite comfort food.
